Who is Healing Hands Massage Academy?
Healing Hands Massage Academy is an internationally renowned academy, specializing in a vast range of complementary therapy courses. Our intense training is designed to transform students into experts. We are devoted to providing personal growth with integrity and a commitment to excellence. It is our privilege to present courses on an international standard, where every member of our team shares a common commitment to provide outstanding education. The pressure is on us to provide the community with top-notch therapists with solid reputations, quality education and a firm understanding of the therapist/client relationship. We at the Institute gladly rise to that challenge!
How are programs delivered?
Healing Hands Massage Academy uses an open learning model. In terms of this model each learning program can be completed at your own pace within a 2 year period. Practical sessions are presented concurrently on scheduled dates for a predetermined number of sessions. There are various starting dates for these sessions and a student can opt to start these sessions whenever they are ready within the 2 year period. Schedules for the different starting dates and times for the different programs are available from the college and will be included in your learner pack. If contact hours are required for a specific program, you will need to attend these classes consecutively for at least one run, but students are allowed one refresher class free of charge, based on availability on that specific class
Types of programs offered:
Provider Program
These are Healing Hands programs that enhance your skills and improve your career opportunities. Provider Programs are not linked to the NQF, but they are in high demand and carry the approval of the Healing Hands Institute Board. Our programs are also internationally accredited by the IAOTH. Dear Prospective Student,
We live in exciting times where the focus is being shifted back to natural healing methods! Methods and treatments which treat the root of the cause / illness / dis-ease, and not just merely the symptoms. True healing can only be accomplished when the root of the dis-ease / condition is being treated. We strive to equip our students to move away from synthetic medicines with harmful side-effects; and apply the knowledge they receive at Healing Hands Massage Academy to assist with healing the natural way! Be it massage, aromatherapy, good old nutrition, herbal remedies, or even just stress release.
This wellness industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world and I am very proud that Healing Hands Wellness Institute is leading the way!
Over the past 23 years, we have seen countless qualified students set up and run very successful private practices, obtain positions in wellness centres and spa’s, work on international cruise liners and private yachts. As an internationally accredited institution, we have also assisted many of our students to secure international positions abroad.
A career in Natural Therapies goes much further than healing by natural means, it is also a journey of finding and discovering yourself and in the process touching people and lives to create harmony, happiness, and a true sense of being, every moment of every day.
